Kattegat ran a very encouraging third on resuming at Wanganui at the end of August and has since won a trial there, placed two from two second up and worth following here at $5.50.
BDW won on his resumption in August and wasn’t far off at Wanganui 18 days ago. Loves the heavy, shot at $10.

The win at Scone in May was insane, dead last and cleared ‘em out by three lengths in a Midway. Up to Derby in June, which was a bit too much, back today after a 130 day break and must be a player in this back to this grade. Trialled up recently, jockey is 4:3-1 onboard, $12 on offer, must be backed EW.

Been going round well in this grade, Noonan knows the horse well, sticks today, up to 1740m and he’ll be dropping in late for sure, $41 looks generous!

Ran nine times without missing the frame this time last year before a big spell. Not done a lot this prep in four runs, does get back in the run, back in distance for this but likes it. He’s 5:2-3 on heavy and jockey is 3:0-2 up top, so he’s very backable EW at $16…

Resumed from a 4 month break at Pinjarra in early August with a tidy second when well-supported, after finishing last prep with a couple of close fourths. Won the next one then three close finishes here and at Northam. Again, $31 looks attractive, can figure here on his best form.
