Just the two yesterday, in the same race, and Miss Jennifer (5 units ew) gave ‘em a lesson, winning by nearly 4 lengths with a leg in the air at $3.10/$1.60, backed in from $5.

Resumes from a mammoth 578 days away and trialled up last week. Has won first up but this would be a training masterclass you’d think if he won today. All four wins have been over this distance, $12 on offer.

Resumed 12 days ago here from a 6 month layoff, with a tidy fifth under Joe Doyle, and his second-up stats have him in this. Had a win and a third last prep, sandwiched between some ordinary runs, but will enjoy the give in the ground. Will be better over the 1400m and looks a real EW shot in this at $8.50.

ROT noted in September when she cruised home to break maiden status at Benalla then ran a nice second straight up to the BM64 grade. Two runs for ninth then off to the paddock, and resumed in late March at the Bool and got up for us under Meech at $7.50. Billy Egan hopped on three weeks ago at Pak, finishing well for fifth at odds, and the step back up to 1800m should suit, with Linda jumping back onboard and she’s not out of this at $9.50.

MR is a ten year old veteran mare, she has her moments but last win was 20 months ago, $26 outsider in this.

Impressive at the Valley in late November, even came from near the back, cruising to win his maiden on the tight track. Didn’t really get into the BM70 at Caulfield next-up but resumes here back to BM64 and gets D Lane up top, rates a nice EW chance at $12, could surprise.

The rise to BM70 was a step too far and he drops back to BM64 today where he placed last month. Back up to the 2400m, gets the talented Ms Gaudray up top, and I think he can figure in this, even at $34… today’s’ sleeper…

Far too good at Ipswich 5 weeks ago and screamed home when stepping up to this grade 18 days ago when well-supported in betting. Mallyon sticks, $1.90 fav, wins this.

Gave ‘em a bath 13 days ago here at $8.50 for us, long overdue win, and his stats say he can continue with it even with the slight class rise. $40 second fav makes him EW all day…

Up in grade and needs to improve as the $23 outsider but not ruling him out of a frame finish, Zac Lloyd a nice booking, can fire second-up.

Noted on debut in August 22 with a brilliant win at Belmont before failing two weeks later and leading to the paddock. Resumed after 410 days with close finishes in two runs in Oct/Nov last year, then put away again. Resumed 17 days ago as a drifting fav but expecting some improvement on that run as Holly Watson sticks, $8.50 on offer.
