Hasn’t raced much in the past year, a couple of spells in the paddock either side of a last at Cranbourne last October but did finish well twice prior to that for a win and a fourth. Resumed 24 days ago, a bit on the short side for him and needed the run, but jockey is 2:1 up top and sticks, and the push out to 1500m will help though further will be better. He’s an eye-watering $151 outsider at the mo, and would certainly go in the HoF if he won this, but, we’ve tipped big winners before!!

Sandown, 7
His very good early career form includes a G3 placing but obviously had some issues with a couple of spells in the paddock, this last one a 235 day break. Easiest grade he’s contested for some time and a decent record first-up gives him a shot in this small field at $6.

Warwick Farm, 3
Another very consistent animal, though she does space out her wins… JMac up top, though he is unplaced in four, but if she’s gonna get win number three, this is her chance as $2.70 fav.

REMEDIES, MARKWELL DREAMER
Warwick Farm, 7
Remedies has run two sevenths either side of break, the last one on resuming 26 days ago after a six month spell, obviously needing the run, drifting in the market. Lloyd jumps on, and trialled aboard her last week, her early form also puts her in with an EW shot here at $14.
MD has a super placing record (51%), including a nice third at Tuncurry 11 days ago, and goes well this class. $41 outsider, but think he’s a better chance than that…

You didn’t see anyone else backing this lad 13 days ago at Geraldton, but we did! Dominant, on-pace and hung on well for a nice $8.50 payout for us. Looks like the rise to 2200m could suit, and he’s a shot in this at $11 now he’s remembered where the winning post is!

Perennial backmarker who pops up occasionally at odds, the $6.50 is as short as he’s been for some time… As usual, watch for him late…
