Loca was one of our two tips yesterday, and boomed home as a $61 shot for fourth. Had they raced him closer to the pace, he would certainly have paid a dividend, but he goes in the book as a definite next-timer…
Makbeel never got on the speed, and struggled to hang on to run a disappointing sixth…

Went in the book as a fast-finishing fourth in Feb, and has since gone 3-3-4 with three poor rides (IMHO) under three top jockeys… now up to Craig Grylls to have a pop. Seems like just a matter of time before he steps up to win, so we go again today as a close co-fav at around $4.40/$2.00

Denied a returning run the other day due to an abandoned meeting, but gets his chance today. Good first-up, going and distance stats, and worth an EW punt in this at $7.

Second and third favs in this, probably prefer Allusionist who’s already won and placed for us this prep at good odds and comes back in grade for this, as does CK, who doesn’t quite appeal as much. Both around the $5-$6 mark.
