Close but no choccies… yet…
He kept us waiting a while but Le Chocolat (5 units ew) so nearly brought home the choccies yesterday. Settled exactly where they wanted him in the run, he was gritty to the line, overhauling the two leaders but just getting nutted right on the line and running second at $1.90.
Stable and jockey were happy with the improved effort, he’ll be out again later this month, and a win is on the cards!

POA used the resuming run at Ruakaka as a warm-up, so best forget that run… Five wins from 8 runs at the distance, has won here and must rate a genuine chance at $10.
Mali Stone boomed home for second on his resumption in the Foxbridge, and is also well in contention at $9.00
Gospodin had been tracking along well until last time, outsider’s chance at $61…
