A winner and two seconds yesterday, plus a n ice quinella, with La Pleine Lune beating home a fast-finishing Guerite, paying $4.30 the win, with the quinella $8.10.

Set The Sails also ran second, but well-beaten by the hotpot fav.

Has done very little in his last seven runs over two preps, prior form was very consistent and needs to find that form to figure in this. Down in grade and up to a more suitable distance, $51 on offer.

Perspiration, Rumours Abound

Warwick Farm R7

Perspiration denied a run two weeks ago in a G3 trying to resume after a super win at Rosehill in September, backed in from $23 to $11 in a small field and cruised home to win, no sweat… Relishes the give in the ground so the heavy surface should suit today, and back to an easier grade race at BM78 has him as a strong contender for this at $4.60, especially with Zac Lloyd booked again, no sweat!

RA won three back in BM82 but hasn’t followed up on that. Generally runs near the pace and McEvoy is a nice booking, EW at $31 in this.

Very Sewreel, Fortuneer

Warwick Farm R8

VS went on the book in Jan last year with a dominant win at MV before two nice placing in Tassie. Resumes after a huge break of 402 days, has trialled three times, winning the last one and must be kept safe at $16 here.

Fortuneer won her first three races and resumed in mid-Feb with a tidy third, then did nothing up in the BM70. Rises again to this grade but must also keep safe at $17.
