One for the future…
Another winner yesterday, albeit at very tight odds, but he won like a horse going places, and was spruiked up by the trainer. Indifferent (10 unit win, $1.35 if you got on early) made a mess of them and he’s one to follow for sure…
Alluvial (3 units ew) was returning after almost a year away, and we were interested to see how he’d go, and it wasn’t a bad effort settling back and running on well for a third at $1.50. More to come now he’s back at the track.

Luxuriant is in very consistent form this prep and surely a win looks on the cards today with Opie jumping onboard, good EW bet at $5.50. Bit Nosy ran a nice second this way round at Tauranga three back, next two so-so, but she gets Lisa today, and if she can get away to her usual on-pace pozzy, can give them something to chase down at $21.

Returns from a 138 day break, and ran a couple of close placings prior at nice odds for us. Good stats over the distance, going and first-up, the booking of B Mertens a bonus. Out of Per Incanto, he can go well in this, watch late, $24 is value…

GALENUS
Launceston, 7
Great stats, but many do in Tassy… Resumed 18 days ago with a close second, and goes well under leading jockey Pires. $6.50 on offer, and an easy EW punt in another open race.

Just the one win from sixteen but he’s been very consistent this prep, placing in all three runs, and is moving towards the win, down in grade a touch for this. Watch for him late over the mile plus, $2.90 fav
