We’ve watched Electric Evie progress in every race this prep, she was pretty green first up, but she ran a dominant race yesterday to win as she liked, confirming our 10 unit win confidence in here to get in at $1.60, more wins to come from this girl…
We threw here in a multi as the winner with our other three tips to finish top four, and nearly made it!
Spirit of Pluto returned from a 254 day break, and though well-beaten by the hotpot fav, she was clear of the rest, running second for our 5 unit ew investment, paying $3.30. More to come, too.
Donation posted a similar result, well-supported in the market, and the 4 unit ew bet producing another second at $2.20, certainly an improved run second-up…
Unfortunately Kalahari Heart got too far back, as is her style, but the steam home was too late as she finished less than a length from the fourth place we needed…

She’s got great credentials for this, all stats are top notch and she’s even a G3 placegetter. Dual acceptor and goes in this race. Third to Pereille on resuming 18 days ago, $5.50 is a steal, we’re all over her at that price!!

This is the other race MIT was entered for, handy that she goes in the other, leaving this to Cool Encounter. She didn’t handle the heavy two back and was better suited on soft at Caloundra 10 days ago, finishing fast from last for third. Bayliss sticks, solid EW bet at $15, watch late!

Note in book on debut simply said BOOM! as she bolted in by over 4 lengths in October at Taree. Backed that up with another nicely timed run at Newcastle in November, then resumed from a 170 day spell three weeks ago there after trialling twice and well-supported as fav, but looks like she needed the run. Gibbons sticks, out to the 1550m, and as long as the soft going isn’t hurting her, she can bounce back in this at $4.20 in a small field.

Noted on debut in August 22 with a brilliant win here before failing two weeks later and leading to the paddock. Resumed after 410 days with close finishes in two runs in Oct/Nov last year, then put away again. Resumed in April with a fifth, then a second at Ascot over 1400m when trying to lead all the way but just nicked late. Expected more from him last week here but he dropped away after his usual prominent run. Out to 1650m today, expect he’ll be ridden a little more conservatively, his one win was on the soft, so that may be key here today. B Parnham hops onboard, rates an EW shot at $5…
