Just a placing yesterday as Deep Stream (5 units ew) looked the winner for a long way before fading to third late at $2.40.

Resuming from a 200 day spell, won his first two then came back 3 months later at this grade mid-year and went OK. Might need the run, will appreciate the give in the ground but should give a sight at $8.50, worth EW.

Debuted 21 days ago when well-supported, sat at the back for much of the way but the way he clicked up to win suggested he can go on with it up in grade and distance. $2.10 favourite, must follow.

Was in solid form early in his career before running last twice mid-year last year in BM72s before heading to the paddock, possibly with an issue. Resumes today after 228 days and has had one trial, also running last, three weeks ago. Down in grade, but may need the run and may need some give in the ground. Gets Jye, $41 on offer.

LUL is an ex-HK sprinter we spotted at Flem on NV Day getting up right on the line in a blanket finish, that was enough to suggest the extra 200m would suit 11 days ago but he faded late after being prominent. Prepared to go again in this slightly easier event and he looks value at $10.

Girl won well in September in the BM64 but has struggled in this grade in three runs. Four of her five wins have come at this distance and goes best on top of the ground. $18 in this, needs to improve.
