Nothing to report… again
He was prominent for a long way but our one-hit wonder Remus faded on the run-in yesterday, maybe looking for that shorter distance…
Seven for your midweek punt, let’s dive in!!
Midweek Magnificent Seven
Flattered
Sale R1
The run 32 days ago at the Hillside in Open class was top notch, screaming home from last to run second, his fourth in six runs and she’s ready to break maidens here as $2.80 fav. Billy Egan jumps back onboard, and if she gets out the gate anywhere decently she’ll be hard to catch…
BET: 10 unit win
Red Hawk
Sale R6
His career has been full of stop-starts, and both rides resuming this prep featured him slow out of the gates and steaming home for third and fourth and though up in grade 23 days ago, we fancied his chances out to the 1200m, but he faded late. Back in grade and distance, he’s better than that last run and rates a good EW shot at $23, another who needs to jump well… Keep safe!

Drift Net
M11 Warwick Farm R4
Finally broke through 33 days ago at Geelong with a dominant win after a few near-misses. Now she’s got the idea, and with T Berry up top, she’s a real chance of beating this hotpot fav as $5 second fav. Suited on heavy.
BET: 5 units ew
Sunchyme
Warwick Farm R8
She bombed the start in the run in September at Moruya but flew home for a very nice win. Back after 156 days, she resumed there in March and repeated the dose. Ran a fourth and a fifth when jumping to this grade, Schiller retains the ride and she’s placed one form one on heavy. Should be dropping in late, and another big odds EW chance at $26.

Hayai Mesu, Scamster
Gawler R5
HM is consistent without winning, rarely far away but just struggling to get over the line. This is her first go over the 2121m and she’s another with a good finish in her, so expecting them to ride her a touch conservatively today and save her up for a final effort. Second fav at $3.10, looks a race in two…
Scamster hurtled home three back for second, subsequent two runs not in the same league, but he’s another with a good finish, and his only win came at this distance last September at Cranbourne. He’s 4:1-1 on the soft, so EW chance in this at $14.
BET: HM 7 unit win, Scamster 3 units ew, exotics with the fav.
Little Rich Boy
Gawler R9
We figured the huge jump to BM78 would be a bridge too far 11 days ago, and so it proved. Previous form at this level was sound and his T&Ds are outstanding, sleeper in this at $12
