Three placings from four…
A third and two fourths from our four yesterday…
Gospodin (4 units ew) continued his solid form with a strong third at $3.70, racing well and a win is coming…
Fourths for Fleming, who ran a much-improved race as suggested, he’s heading for a win and we’ve got him on the radar.
The other fourth was Terminus, who looked likely when prominent early (again), may be better over shorter as he’s very quick early.

Was in good order around the turn of the year before two ordinary runs to finish last prep. Resumed 21 days ago, got out quick but faded, and will have benefited from the run. Gets J Kah today, she won up top on her in Jan, up in grade but worth following EW at $7.

Resumes from a 205 day break, has won two from five first-up, but this might be an ask today, with no form at the track or on soft going. $26 on offer.

Mathew, Rudhyar

Mathew noted with a superb run from the back a year and a day ago, surging home from last to win at Sale by nearly three lengths. He resumed at Caulfield in May, needing the run, then stepped three weeks later under today’s jockey Luke Nolen, bounding home by almost three lengths. Stepped up in grade and also up to the mile and a half for the first time here 35 days ago, but failed to make any ground from midfield. Up in grade and back to the 1800m, Nolen sticks, so an EW shot at $10.
Rudhyar’s form is a touch intermittent, though he made a lot of ground up from the back last month at Geelong to finish a close sixth. Also jumps in grade, $26 on offer.

Very consistent, only one real failure in eight runs this prep. Big drop in grade here, he’s 5:1-3 in BM56, goes well on soft, possesses a good finish so the 2000m suits, watch for him late, $3.60 fav in this.
