Getting closer…
A better show from yesterday’s tip in Tactfull, the stable said he’d be ridden further forward, and that’s what they did, and he led for most of the way, only reeled in over the past 150m, certainly a better showing for the $126 outsider, and maybe that’ll be the answer for him going forward.

Improved on previous runs for fourth 23 days ago when out to the 2000m, been a while since she’s won though. Back in grade a touch and Sam Spratt sticks, maybe a place in an open betting race…

EC broke maiden status in some style 33 days ago here, huge from the back, so the push out to the mile looks suitable, and he can deal with the rise in grade. $6.50 in another open race.
GC put in an improved run 23 days ago in Vistown’s race at Taupo, both having late market support, so maybe the rise in distance also suited him. Gets C Grylls up top, place chance again at $10.

No-one was tipping Sweysive 14 days ago at W Farm, and even though he presented as the second fav, and drifted before the off, we were confident with Josh Parr onboard and the additional 200m that he’d be in the mix, and he was never headed, a super win that’s been on the cards… He’s in fine form, great T&Ds, great soft going stats, Parr sticks, and if he sees out the 1550m, he’ll be winning again… $3.20 on offer…

This is an interesting runner, spotted her after a trial at Pak in April, with trainer Peter Moody spruiking her up, suggesting she was gonna break maidens soon, rating her as a city class filly. She ran second, if a touch greenly, but we fancied more to come, and she resumed five weeks ago from a 236 day spell after some good jump-outs, and she duly obliged with a dominant display. Backed that up 21 days ago this T&D, swooping late to win for us. Hasn’t missed the first three in six runs, moving nicely through the grades, winning jockey sticks, and so do we at $6.00.

Another with an improved run last time out, 10 days ago here, finishing on from the back into third behind this fav (who should be winning again), so the rise to 1960m looks suitable. $10 on offer, place chance again…
