Sandown R4

SLM noted in April with a huge run from the back to make it two in a row. Progressing through the grades nicely and moved up again 18 days ago, running a close third at BM78 at Caulfield. Drops back to BM74 and back to 1000m, Jonny Allen a nice booking up top, she’s a real EW shot at $9.

Rarely far away and resumes from a 158 day spell. No first-up form as such but has trialled three times for a win and a second under Ben Allen, EW shot at $11 in an open betting race.

In good form this prep and drops in grade here, the apprentice sticks and she’s a real threat in this at $4.

Dropped to the BM65 a month back at Riverton after running a close fourth in the G3 Manawatu 23 days before and in a G2 before that, and duly saluted at odds-on. He débuts in Aussie today and worth following.

Hard to catch, though she drops back to her easiest race for some time. Gets back, so not sure she’s suited here…

Another resuming, this time from 66 days away, she’s 6:0-3 first-up. Tends to get back, so may be looking for longer, though this is a big drop in grade.
