A rare day without anything from the book yesterday turned into a good day with our heads-up on Aaron Bullock’s rides at Gunnedah supplying three winners and a second from his five rides!

Had support on resuming on NYE to finish a promising second. Will take benefit from that run, only one win from ten but five placings, including here, at the distance and on a heavy track, which she gets today. The apprentice sticks, and she looks poised to figure in this at a value $8.

We suggested he’d run a good race back in grade and distance as an on-pacer, and he simply ran them ragged as the $9 outsider. Same grade and 100m shorter, easy EW bet at $6.

Been a while since his last win, resumes today at a distance he’s had success at but no first up form. $18 shot.

HM a couple of failures since a promising couple of runs to start last prep, and drops back to 1100m for the first time, so expecting they’ll ride her a bit further forward today on resuming from a two month break. Placed two from three first up, chance at $8.50.
LRB’s last two also a bit off, previous form good and the drop back to 1100m will suit, $11 on offer.
