Just the two sixth placings from two runs this prep, both at Matamata. Just then one win from 24 goes but placed six times. Gets OP up top but will need to jump well over the 970m scamper and this is her best chance to make it win number two for some time, $4.80 on offer.

Matriarch Rose, Jaykayann
Sandown R3
MR got the job done with some ease 17 days ago when back from metro racing and can go on with it her at $3.90, though the fav looks an interesting prospect resuming after a year off.
Jaykayan has won 4 from 9, two of them here but none first-up. Resumes from a 7 month spell, will not mind the give in the ground, EW shot at $17.
BET: MR 8 unit win, JK 3 units ew
Inundation, Scissor Step
Sandown R6
Inundation resumes from 9 months away, just had the one run last prep when contesting a BM100 at the Valley and drops considerably here. All stats read well, as do the fav’s, looks like a race in two, well stick with our lad though at $3.80.
SS won a small fielded trial recently as he preps for his return. Stats are also sound, and at $8 he can fill the frame in this.

Amarantz
Randwick-Kensington R5
Flew home in October for second but hasn’t backed that run up. Another resuming, $16 on offer.

Rose Noir
Ipswich R4
Won on debut then blew out at Gold Coast three weeks later. Mate of mine owns a leg, Gollan liked his recent run-out and thinks he’ll go well here. $13 on offer, worth following.

Fox Gem, Scamster, Hayai Mesu
Murray Bridge R7
FG produced an astonishing run from near last to win by over five lengths and the push out to 1800m will hold no fears for him. Pannell sticks, $3.20 fav, think he wins now he knows where the winning post is.
Scamster followed him all the way up the straight to run second, so provides some value at $21.
Hayai Mesu drops hugely in grade, can finish well late, $8.50 on offer.
