Spruiked up in March when bolting home for third in a twelve horse field, and marked as next-timer. Up to 1400m three weeks later, she repeated the dose from dead last of fourteen to run third. Stepping up to the mile was the key, and she duly bolted home from last this T&D for a superb win in April. Went to the paddock and did nothing in three runs this prep but went better 18 days ago when we noted her finishing on well from the back for a close sixth. $21 on offer, worth an EW tilt…

Huge from the back on debut July last year, has had a couple of spells since and wasn’t far off earlier last year. Resumed five weeks ago after a trial second, dropped out to the rear, needing the run, but flew home for third at $2.70. She was marked down as next-time and while she finished well into a close fourth, she’s obviously begging for longer and gets it here today. Out to the 1430m 10 days ago and flew home again for third, and significantly pushes out to 2050m here, and that might be what she’s been looking for… $6 makes her very backable…
