Our one-hit wonder in Red Hawk (5 units ew) was in trouble right from the off yesterday, dropping out early when we really needed him up with the pace. We know he’s got a good finish in him, but the 1000m was just a tad short for him, especially resuming after 221 days away, but he flew home for third paying $1.50, earning a next-time tag from us. A win would have secured the qadi for us, but we’re sure he’ll repay us second-up!
Just the two for Tuesday, and both in the same race… exotics opportunities here, plus the qadi…

MJ won two of her first three races, the last one 20 months ago in a BM78 at Flemington, and looked set for a bright career, however, she hasn’t risen to those dizzy heights in subsequent runs, apart from a nice finish for third back in October. Resumes today after 6 months away, those two wins were first-up, but apart from that, it makes grim reading. Back in a much humbler BM58 race here and sits at $5 in a small field, with no heavy form to boast.
BT was a good thing beaten in August, flying home when caught in traffic, not far off next two before heading to the paddock. Resumed after 157 days at Wagga six weeks ago with good first-up form, but clearly needed the run as he faded late. Fav jockey sticks, and though no second-up form to speak of, his other stats are pretty today, including wins on heavy. $10 on offer.
