Not far off mostly this prep but without winning. Frontrunner dropping in grade from Listed company but up in weight here. Doesn’t win out of turn but an EW shot in this at $4.60.

Consistent placegetter who is a long time between drinks, thought he’d found his race at Rocky 14 days ago dropping hugely in grade and well -supported, but he got too far back again, finishing on late as he does but without threatening. Up to 1400m should help, not so sure about the rise back to the BM70 though… $4.40 second fav in a small field.

Turbeau, Bringyaticket

Turbeau resumes from a 170 day break and finished last prep in nice form with a win and two seconds. Has some tidy stats for this (3:1-1 at the track, 9:1-5 first-up) and Wiggins is a positive booking (2:1-1), just not sure the 1000m is far enough for him. $4.60 in another small field..

Bringyaticket resumes after an even longer spell (221 days) and it’s a ditto to the above, with some impressive stats on show, unbeaten in three at the distance, 8:4-2 at the track, 3:2-0 first-up and 7:4-3 on soft, so must keep safe at $14.

BET: Both 5 units win, exotics for sure

Back from a lengthy 250 day spell at Wyong 19 days ago, and while we thought the 1200m would be a touch short, he flew home late for a very close third. Will be better for that run, and he has won on heavy, $9 shot in this, another one to keep safe…
