A compelling winner…
Cracking return from a 13 month spell by Compelling Truth yesterday, and we were spot on with our 10 unit win assessment as he drove to the lead with some authority in the straight and powered away for a dominant win at $3.90.
Raging Rush got a little to far back, but was running on into fifth less than 2 lengths from the winner, he’s gonna win one soon…
Four meetings today, and we have a tip from each meeting, all at EW odds, worth an EW Yank…

She was very much magnifique in early December with a huge finish to win by over 8 lengths. Stepped up to 2300m and G3 but drops back to this grade but back to the mile, so will need to be closer to the pace today. McNab sticks and she rates a chance at $19, sleeper in this.

Resumes after 4 months, only one run last prep and that was after nearly 400 days away but previous form was tidy. He’s 2:1-1 at this distance but wins have come of soft or heavy ground. Might need this, $19 on offer…

Just ran away from them at Tamworth a month ago to clear maidens at his second attempt before a big finish for third 16 days ago at Scone. Unfortunately loses Bullock up top to the fav but still a strong EW shot as $6.50 third fav.

SIR BOO
Grafton, 6
Caught the eye resuming here in October after 446 days away, winning from dead last at odds. A similar finish at Taree produced a third before stepping up in grade at Randwick under McEvoy over longer. Back to the 1181m, Mallyon is a decent booking and he’s a shot at $5 second fav.
