Another first-second-third yesterday…
Lot of satisfaction in Real Gun’s dominant performance, we’ve followed him for some time and he’s rewarded us this prep with a string of returns, running up his second win in a row yesterday (10 unit win, $3.00).
Legal Challenge couldn’t quite get up, missing by a head, while Mr Invincible ran a close third.
Three from the book, couple of them at odds, and worth following…

He’s been scratched from a couple recently and gets his chance to win here after running two seconds this month. Generally sits midfield and finishes well, and the booking of Jarrod Fry is significant and he can win this very even betting contest as second fav at $4.00/$1.75.

TAIKUN TOMMY, ULTIMATE MAN

These two meet up again, with TT carrying the better form into this one. While only three wins on the board, he’s been in good form recently, usually finishing well from the back, and he’s poised to do the same today as a $10 shot. Jockey is 3:1-1 and he possesses nice T&D stats, though we’d like to see him a bit closer in the run in this slightly shorter race. Down in grade, so think he goes close.
UM has a similar racing pattern, and while it has been 18 months since he won, he can pop up for a place here as a $31 shot.
