Boo whoo-hoo!
Nice when a horse we’ve noted fulfils its promise, and so it was when Sir Boo (5 units ew), backed in from $7.50 into $3.30, and parked nicely in the run like we wanted, before he poured it on the final turn and put them away with the finishing burst we know he has. Cherry on the cake was the $2K trifecta!
Right, it’s a one-hot wonder day, and I’d like to say we’re super-confident but it would be safe to say this one would earn a Hall of Fame entry if he gets up! A small wager today, methinks, but a tiny squeak third up today, just keep on the right side of him…

His early career form was top notch, running top three in seven of his first eight runs, the second of those in a 3YO Open event before failing at Rocky and heading to the paddock for the best part of a year, obviously with issues. Resumed last June with five runs, the final three in last place before another stint away, (212 days), before resuming a month ago over a 800m dash then better for fifth here 10 days ago at a more suitable 1200m. Sports good T&D’s, and interestingly, today’s jockey is 1:1 up top, so we are not writing this lad off just yet, even as the $51 outsider in this small, and not very strong field…
BET: 5 unit win, gonna chuck him in some small exotics and anchor him in both legs of the qadi…
