Three from the book in this one… SAW came from the back of the pack at Townsville 16 days ago to run a close second for us at SP $61, paying $11.90 the place. Back in the weakest grade he’s competed in for some time, and must be included staying at the mile, he’ll be there late, $9.50 on offer. Demurral also back in grade, needs to improve but gets a jockey upgrade, $11 shot. DA inconsistent, runs the odd place, needs to lift as $26 shot.
BET: SAW 5 units ew, D 3 units ew, DA 2 units ew, would surely spice up the exotics…

Been a while since he won but fav jockey sticks and does drop in grade for this. Has form at this track and could be another one dropping in late coming up to the mile. $5 co-fav in a very open betting race.
