Nearly…
It was a tough watch for our one-hit wonder in Wanjiru yesterday…
He bounced out of the gate, then was quickly snagged back to a rear position, as he tends to do, but just got too far off them, and screamed home to miss second by a nose and a head. He’s not far off with a better ride, next time…
Three today from the book, all of them a solid chance including the picnics runners… I feel a trixie coming on…
Three for Tuesday… maybe a trixie?
COSMIC RHAPSODY
Ballarat, 7
We spruiked up with a closer run last time in a two horse battle after two good runs here, and he obliged at $2.80 in a small field, beating off the challenge of Philosopher’s Stone. Up in grade and down a touch in distance in another small filed, loves it on the AWT here and can win again as a $5.50 shot.
BET: 8 unit win
PAHANG
Warren, 4
Won three in a row as fav at the picnics in June, we don’t get notified of these rural events so can’t comment, but he’s back to country level today. Down in grade a touch and has performed well over the mile, EW shot at $10.
BET: 5 units ew
LOCA
Warren, 6
Ditto re- picnics for this fella… Latest runs consistent, drops back to the 1000m for this, so will want him a bit closer in the run. Doesn’t want it too wet, but a chance at $23.
BET: 4 units ew
