A Royal BOOM!!
What a finish by Royal Fox! Dead last all the way, but we know he’s got a huge finish in him and he swooped home at the delightfully juicy $19.00/$4.30 mark, rewarding our 3 unit ew investment beautifully! He anchored us to the trifecta and also the qadi!
Croatian Belle (4 units ew) ran a superb race in the race before,on pace and got away 300m out, and looked all over the winner before getting nicked at the death by the fast-finishing second fav, paying $2.10 the place after some nice market support.
Kew Player ran a good race but just missed the placings, denying us a bigger place Trixie dividend…
Just two for Tuesday, and we’re pretty bullish about their chances…

Note in book on debut simply said BOOM! as she bolted in by over 4 lengths in October at Taree. Backed that up with another nicely timed run at here in November, then resumed from a 170 day spell in May here again after trialling twice and well-supported as fav, but looks like she needed the run. Out to 1550m last time but didn’t fire a shot, and we think she may require a firmer surface as she’s 2:2 there. The Hippo jumps on today as she drops in grade, and overnight support has seen her go from $7 to almost co-fav of three at $3.70.

He’s taken to the AWT very well, and we tagged him as a next-timer after his three recent placings. Surprised that he’s dropping back to the 1100m today as he does possess a big late finish, but he’s drawn well in gate two, so if he can land handy, he’ll be a huge threat on the run home. $9.50 looked value last night, but he too has had some support overnight, in to $6 now, and ready win…
