Two (more) bold winners!!
Though we marked yesterday as a one-hIt wonder day, when we tuned to watch Point Basse duly oblige for us (10 unit win, $1.60, but $2.25 if you jumped on early), they were interviewing trainer Brett Cavanough, who was not only bullish on PB to win the race under Mitch Bell, but spruiked his hotpot fav in the last in Nebraskan, so we had to jump on, and Bell didn’t disappoint, riding a dominant double on both horses to close out the day for us in some style.
The staff are heading for a nice little break in the islands for the next week, we’ll do our best to post the day’s tips if we’ve got service, even if it’s without the commentaries…
One tip ahead of time though, keep an eye tomorrow on Doomben, race 5, mate of mine has one on debut, Rose Noir, won a recent trial, watch the betting, looks sharp!
