Our one-hit in Sisserou was drawn in the carpark, but managed to slide over nicely and looked the winner at the final bend but faded to a midfield finish.

Noted Nov last year ago running a big second to the very decent Let’s Sea and followed up with a win three weeks later before a couple of last placings sent her to the paddock for 9 months, obviously with an issue… Resumed 15 days ago at Ararat, and back to the BM58, after winning a trial in September, and we spruiked her up as an EW prospect as an $18 shot, backed into $12 and ran a very close third after dominating. Needs to get past an odds-on fav who’s also back in grade here, but we think she’s ready to peak, and worth another EW punt at $4.80.

He’s run into some nice form this prep and seeks the hat-trick after two on-pace wins at Gatton, so the drops back from the mile to the 1500m should not be an issue. Currently around $3.30 co-fav and with Huxtable sticking (3:2-0), so are we…
