Three from the book yesterday, producing a winner and a second.

We’d been tracking Sapphires Son as he had shown marked improvement this prep, and we fancied him up to the mile after a few fast finishes. He sat just off the pace and accelerated up the fence for a super win at $9.70.

Write Your Own was second-up, and ran a nice second, well-beaten by the hot fav but he had the rest covered. Next time for him for sure…
