His two runs for seconds in March had merit, then he never emerged from the ruck at Caulfield before a good finish for a close fifth at Cranbourne a month ago. Can’t help feeling there’s a win to come soon, jockey has had some success onboard (6:1-3) and this doesn’t look that deep, EW shot for sure at $7.50.

Just ran away from them at Tamworth to clear maidens at his second attempt in Jan before two big finishes for third here and at Newcastle within a month before heading to the paddock for 4 months. We like Bullock back up top, he’ll enjoy a bit of give in the ground but he’ll need to be away handier than usual in this 900m dash but he is capable, and we’re very keen on him today at a juicy $7!

OK, here she is again, race #152 for this 10 year old mare… Hasn’t won since last August, and goes around again at big odds ($23), but this is her fav distance, with 9 out of her 11 wins at the 1400m. Gotta have the interest bet!
