Broke a string of four eighth placings a week ago, but only to finish tenth! He’s really dropped away this prep, one thing in his favour today is the return to the 1980m, where he’s 3:1-2, and Laura Lafferty returning up top, she’s 5:2-0, so a wary EW bet at $23 today.

He’s a former Kiwi who’s starting to live up to his NZ form in Aus. He ran a nice third at the start of last month at Cranbourne, then an eye-catching second at Sale 19 days ago, and he looks set to break his Aussie duck here as $3 fav.

Honest, consistent and had been knocking on the door this prep when we fancied him at Moree a month ago over the mile, but he was flat all the way and ran eighth. Better than that, gets a jockey upgrade today and worth an EW punt at $10.

We gave him a 4 unit ew recommendation when resuming from a long spell 15 days ago at Taree, and, boy, did he oblige! Stormed down the middle to get up at a juicy $21 for us, Luke Rolls sticks (2:2-0) and he’s an easy EW bet today at $8.
