Race 8: SHOWMANSHIP is phenomenal, 7 out 8 wins but will over 600 days away stop him? Triple Missile comes over from WA with a big rep, but Olly up top on the fav gets my vote, won a trial in March, so you’d assume they have him right. Jump on at $3.80…

Race 9: JAFFASTOCK was impressive, winning two on end early this year before hopping up in grade. Back in distance and grade today, so could pose a serious threat at $11 here today.

Race 8: STELLAR POWER went in the book 22 months ago with an impressive, tough win from the front, and wasn’t that far off as he moved up the grades. He resumed after 19 month in the paddock at Caloundra a month ago in an open event, running last of nine. Will obviously have needed that run, and I’d be a legend if he won at $151, but he has won at this distance, at this track, on this going and under this jockey, so all I’m saying is keep him safe…
