The drop in grade worked a treat for Bifrost (5 units win) as he romped home at $2.90.

Mormaire will run close to fav after a couple of thirds in the past three runs, the in-form McNab sticks, $4 shot. Inmyshadow is in fine form, running second in the G3 NZ Cup last time out, and winning prior to that, so dunno why he’s the $15 outsider in this…

Back in grade is Indifference, and back to his preferred distance. He’s run well in higher than this and will be finishing hard late as $2.80 fav. MP will be right there with him, finished well for second at Bendigo last time out, and he’s a definite EW shot at $7.

Sachem was noted with an impressive win back in June before a couple of midfield finishes up in grade. Back today after a 5 month spell, Yendall is a plus booking (2:1-1) and he’s an EW shot at current odds of $4. Mr Invincible was also impressive on debut here in November before running ninth at Bendigo last month. $19 seems generous…
