Our two selections yesterday just got too far back in the run, and both finished well but unable to make a place.

Cleared maidens here in April and has run a couple of thirds for us since, one also here… Up in grade a touch, but angling towards her second win as $3 second fav.

BET: 5 unit win

FOXY FEMME

Gawler Barossa Jockey Club, 5

She was huge from the back on debut here two weeks back, Vorster sticks, and another second fav with a good shot at her second win at $3.80

BET: 6 unit win

EAGLELOU

Gawler Barossa Jockey Club, 7

Won on debut in June and has run three placings in four runs, and wasn’t far off on resumption at Balaklava last week. Should have too much for these as $2.60 fav.

BET: 10 unit win

LAROUPE, MOREAN

Gosford Race Club Ltd, 5

Laroupe won two on the trot before being outclassed and maybe unsuited by the firm ground at Canterbury earlier this month. Gets back to BM64 here, but would prefer some rain I suspect… Second fav at $3.40. Morean noted winning on debut in Feb and has finished first four in six subsequent runs. Has had two trials to tune up after 3 months or so away. Has first-up form and seems sure to figure at $5.50.

BET: Both worth a small win wager (4 units), but include both in exotics…

MANHATTAN FORCE

Geelong Racing Club, 7

Went in the book with a gritty win last December, won again in July for us, and drops in grade returning from a 3 month spell. Has won here and first up, winning jockey jumps back onboard, so the $26 might be value…

BET: 3 units ew

THE INEVITABLE

Launceston, 5

We spruiked this lad at $7 on returning here two weeks ago and he bolted in, beating over half of these in the process. Phenomenal stats for this, looks a moral at $3.20…
