Race 4: RUM has changed stable, and his two wins have come here. Back to fav distance, gets B Grylls up top, and looks like the day’s slow burner at $9.50

Race 7: ASPEN COLORADO stormed home a month ago at Te Rapa to clear maidens at good odds after a close-up fourth at Taupo previously. Jockey sticks, and now she’s got the idea she can go on with it, albeit up in grade, at $8. Drawn well.

SANDOWN
Race 1: I AM YOURS was well-supported on debut, and came from a long way back to finish a close-up third. He’s $6.50 in a small field and can win this…

Race 8: STORM DE LUNE finished well from the back on debut, and was marked… duly trotted up next time out at Moe, then stepped up in grade without threatening. Came back after a spell here two weeks ago and needed the run. $101 at the mo, but worth a small ew investment…

BALAKLAVA
Race 7: DR COPPER had been running places consistently for us early to mid last year before heading off to the paddock for nine months. Returns today dropping in grade and distance, has placed twice first up, so a chance today at $16. However, we also have EFFORTKAT also dropping in grade. Spotted with a nice win from the back in early November and since ran a second (SP $11) and a win ($4.50) for us before a last start failure at Morphettville, when she was impeded early and not tested. Back to provincial level, she can make an impact at $6.50

TOOWOOMBA
Race 2: LONADO was scheduled to run last week, and was fancied to add to her only win but the meeting was abandoned. Chance today as $3.10 joint fav after her second here three weeks ago.
