Race 4: RUDHYAR went in the book a little over a year ago with a great finish from near last at Geelong, beating the promising Bainbridge. Won again for us, plus a couple of nice placings. Watch for him late, he’s down in grade and up in distance, doesn’t mind it wet, should suit him, plus, the addition of Ms Kah has him a $3.20 fav.
BET: 10 unit win
Race 5: Former Kiwi BIFROST has been back and forth across the ditch, but on resumption this time got up for us at a very juicy $17. Has been running in higher grade that this, including last time behind the very smart Inundation. Will need to be at his best to beat these favs but rates an EW wager at $8…
BET: 3 units ew, exotics
Race 7: MAGNETIC PRINCE hasn’t been far off them this prep racing at this grade, caught the eye with a last-to-first win two back at Casterton. Back runner who’ll be finishing on late, and even though he’s up in grade, he’s an ew shot at $17

GAWLER
Race 4: EAGLELOU powered home on debut for an impressive maiden win, and was made fav here 9 days later but simply got too far back before finishing into fourth. Gets the winning jock back onboard, and the extra 200m will work in his favour, and he’s a definite winning chance in a close betting race at the top of the book at $6.50.
BET: 5 units ew
IPSWICH
Race 4: WHEELS is another ex-Kiwi who headed to Aussie after her one maiden win at Otaki, and ran a huge race from the back for second, beaten half a length. Moved up in grade for a win here and three ninth placings, and gets the winning jock back on for this, they had a trial win a month ago, and can threaten late over this longer distance today at $6.50.
