Race 5: SAVVY LAD has won third up previously, will need to go some to get past this fav but is not without ew hopes at $8… BENTAYGA goes here too, is OK at this distance and has good second-up stats, he’s a chance too…

Race 6: WHEELS caught the eye on her Aussie debut at Ipswich, then won there two runs later. Had one run in NZ for a win at Otaki. Is back after 7 months away, has finished last in all three trials but don’t discount her at $9

Race 9: SHE’S THE GIFT put two wins together for us early in the year, in NZ then found the jump to G3 in Aus a bit tough. Back to BM85 today, they must think something of her, so rates a chance at $10

Race 4: WILD ROCKET finished on well on resumption here after a 6 month break, and can be expected to improve on that. Sports good stats for this, could be a sleeper at $21…

Race 6: GIRL MANIA has got up a couple of times for us since catching the eye in August last year, and is never usually far away. Forgive last run where she blundered near the turn, can get in the frame here today at $16.

Race 7: BALTIC COAST was quite brilliant in winning two weeks back, he’s 2/2 in Aus after a couple of seconds in the UK. Comes to town ready to make it three at $3.

CAMBRIDGE
Race 5: LITTLE JOE flew home late for second before a distant eighth sent him to the paddock for 7 months. Lightly raced, and could show up if he’s ready… $26 on offer

SANDOWN
Race 6: STAR OF CHAOS had run third to some good animals in Najmaty and Illation prior to her last run, and had also run a second to the very good Espiona. Wasn’t too far off last run at HQ, and if she can see out the mile she’s a show at $11.

Race 8: SANTERO produced a huge finish in January at Pak for second, then followed it up with a couple of wins for as at $8.50 and $4.50. Back from a spell and up in grade, but she’s a live chance in this at $5.50. Good stats.

Race 9: We’ve been following WORTH BOTTLING since her big debut win at huge odds, but she’s yet to reproduce that form. Rank outsider here at $101.
