Race 8: AUF WEIDERSEHEN won with a last to first run in early April, then ran near last here before a fifth at the Bool. Has won at this distance and on the heavy, so ew shot today at $8. WAILUA did the same thing in early March before a sixth at Pak. Up in distance today, untried on heavy, another ew shot at $5.

SUNSHINE COAST
Race 8: BENTAYGA returns from a three month or so spell, he was spruiked for his November win at Otaki, than won for us at Awapuni ($6.50) and has now headed across the ditch, where he debuts here today as fav at $3.50 for Tony Pike. Won a recent trial, so must be a shot…
BET: 5 unit win
RANDWICK-KENSO
Race 8: KATTEGAT seems to be either there or nowhere, won well in July, then again for us in August and couple of thirds at $8.50 and $21. Other races, nowhere… Does like the distance and going and does drop in grade, so maybe not the worst at $31…

Race 7: Hard to get too excited about SOLID CONTACT who went in the book with his one and only win in Sept 2020… Does get B Grylls onboard but might be better if she carried the horse round! $31, don’t go mad…
