SANDOWN
Race 4: SANTERO got up for us 3 weeks back at Pak at a juicy $8.50 after a huge finish from last in the previous run. Consistent, and must go close today here, especially up to the 1800m, $6.50 on offer, take it!
BET: 5 units ew
Race 8: VAHASH and STORM DE LUNE contest this one. Vahash noted with a 3.8 length win at Ballarat in August, but dropped right away in his next run before heading to the paddock. Has won first up and is an ew shot today at $7. SDL was well back but finished nicely for seventh on debut, and was duly noted. Won next time out for us at Moe before running in higher grade at Flem before he too went to the paddock. Resumes today in easier grade, does get back but can figure at $34 (365).
BET: Both 3 units ew, include both in exotics.
