Race 3: ALL ABOUT EVE was beaten by Cardigan Queen when poorly ridden back in June. Moved up to race in a couple of G3 events, at odds, and without a lot of success, but there is talent there, and she could surprise today third up at $23…

Race 4: BIFROST went in the book after being spruiked last August, but subsequent runs have failed to live up to that promise. Making his debut in Oz here, and not sure he’s worth more than an interest bet here at $21…

Race 7: PEPPER’S GHOST breezed home in September, then stepped up in grade without threatening. Back in grade today, and gets over a little more ground, but, again, interest money only at $21…

Race 8: VISINARI put them away by 7.5 lengths at Pak a month back. Does step up in grade again, but that was a dominant win from the front, and if Ms Kah gets him to the front again, he’ll be very hard to catch… $1.70, not surprisingly… AKECHETA i s another front running type who caught the eye in early November, then got in for us later that month. Two subsequent runs were up in grade, but he wasn’t far off, and will provide some interest today at $19.
BET: 10 unit win Visinari, 2 units ew Akecheta, include both in exotics…

Race 6: WILD ROCKET finished her last campaign with two wins and two thirds for us. Back after a 6 month spell, she is capable of a big finish, likes this distance and loves the going, which it makes me wonder why she’s paying $31… I guess I’ll find out at about 5.50 this evening, but think she’s an ew shot in this…
