Noted last September in her second run at Wyong, very tardy out of the gate and flew home for third after being well-supported. Subsequently ran three more placings before taking a six month break, she’s busting to win and the money’s there for here as $1.55 fav.

NARITO & COOL LAD 

Newcastle Jockey Club, 7

Narito couldn’t have been more impressive on debut 14 days ago at Wyong, came with a withering burst to win by two lengths. JMac sticks fro Waller, and he’s gonna be very hard to topple in this as $1.75 fav.

Cool Lad noted early this year with a dominant win at Wagga, then moved up the grades without success before heading to the paddock for nearly six months. Ran second in a trial last week, and could add some spice to the exotics at $16 back in this grade.

He drops in grade after his previous two at BM70, and has had some success at this track. Been going round at big odds recently, but those t&d stats give him a place shot here today at $23.
