Race 3: STAR STATUS produced a big run for third two weeks back. Back to his fav distance, and a chance at $9.

Race 6: STAR MIDFIELDER was noted backed in on debut last August, finishing well for third, then won next time up for us. Struggled a bit with the jump in grade, then ran a couple of placings for us before heading off to the paddock. Returned after 5 months to win a big trial here 11 days ago… lightly-raced and can figure in this at $6.

Race 7: Bit of a dilemma here, as we have two animals I’m pretty keen on in BRILLIANT MIND ($6) and PALENCIA ($3.80). Both very consistent and look certain to be in the finish, but up against a hotpot fav in Prime Ruler. Best bet looks to be boxing them up for the tri…

BALLARAT
Race 5: MR MISCHIEF is on the quick back-up from Friday, where he missed the frame for the first time here. Drops in grade and runs fav at $2.40 today, should win.
BET: 8 unit win
Race 8: MT BULLER is another down in grade, when last here he won for us at $7 in April at Ararat. Shot at $6
BET: 3 units ew
TAREE
Race 7: GOLDEN FANTASY was a touch disappointing last time at Grafton, drops back in grade a touch and back to her fav distance. Won this t&d three back, real chance today at $3.80.
BET: 6 unit win
