Front-running type who we had high hopes for at MV last run, but back in both grade and distance today he can take this out at $6.50 in a small field.

Noted missing the start at Casterton in June but cruised up to win nicely. Ran a third, then a sixth up in grade before being spelled for 4 months, returns today also back in grade, not a great first-up or heavy record, but a chance if he’s ready at $7 in this small field.

He was backed in to fav on resuming at Lismore in August and duly saluted. Has placed three out of five times for us further in this prep. We noted him powering home at Ballina two back but the rise to BM66 was too far, and he’s back in grade today, McGuren sticks, and we’ll be looking for him late over the longer distance today, drawn well as $2.80 fav.
