Race 4: AUSSIE TYCOON has had plenty of chances (75) and only come up with two wins. Noted flopping out the gates at Rocky in December, but flew home for a close up sixth. Drops a touch in grade after being well off the winner last time out, ew appeal only at $21.

Race 5: SUCH A WHIT has provided us with a few placings in his last five runs, but very little in return as he’s constantly running in small fields. Same thing today, he’ll run rank outsider at $19 in a four horse field. His racing pattern doesn’t lend to these short dashes, but he should be able to slot in somewhere in this field. In his favour, this is his fav track and distance, and we quite often see these races taken out by the roughie…
