Bit Nosy (3 units ew) did his best to lead all the way and just failed by, well, a nose… Nice place odds though at $3.10, Billy Pinn surely bringing the best of this horse out and closing in on that maiden win.

Clear Blonde (3 unit win, small field) was well beaten into second at $3.40 the place, but we did suggest she might surprise at around $18.
