Great start…
Off to a great start yesterday, as we spruiked Bit Nosy (5 units ew) to break maidens from the front, and she obliged with a gritty win, paying $6.80/$2.10.
Followed that up with a couple of seconds in Sachem (4 units ew, $1.60) and Beach West ($2.40), and Baltic Coast third (ND).
Six from the book, and a bit of a mixed bag today…
Mixed bag of six today…
SHAZZA, I’M A TIGER
Reefton, 3
Shazza was spruiked up back in July and ran away from them. Ran second then two unplaced before heading for a spell. Resumes down in grade and can feature here if fit. $4.20 on offer. Been a while since IAT won, and has been going round at big odds. Outsider in this small field at $7.50.
BET: Shazza 5 unit win, IAT 2 unit win, exotics.
PLAINLY SPOKEN
Pinjarra, 2
He was spruiked up last week with Pikey back onboard out west and did nothing, running next to last. Not sure if that was based on the horse or the jockey but worth keeping an eye on in this small field, $13 on offer.
BET: 5 unit win
SUPIDO BEAUTY
Wagga, 1
Won her first two, but reportedly didn’t handle the left handed track at the Valley on resumption. Has won here at T&D, and should have too much for these as $2.20 fav.
BET: 10 unit win
ABB ROY
Gatton, 7
Run #118 for the old mare, and she’s run a second and a fourth for us last two at big odds. Has had success at this T&D and under this jockey. EW today at $13.
BET: 3 units ew
SERTIN
Gatton, 9
Ran a few places for us late last year but last two have been ordinary. Drawn wide and paying anything up to $71 at the mo.
BET: 2 units ew
