Today’s Tips: Thursday 25th August 2022

A few bangers yesterday from our ten tips… we keep on finding ‘em!!

I’ll be sending a big bag of carrots over to Fengarada shortly, 4 wins out the last 5 for us at $5.50, $26 (that was a big day!), $9, and yesterday’s absolute rout by nearly 8 lengths pulling up at $10 (5 units ew). Huge pick-up as we went all-in on this lad and picked up the tri as well…

Then a long-awaited win from Native Blue (3 units ew), as gritty a win as you’ll see at $5.40.

We told you that Winning Aces (3 units ew) had a big finish, and after flopping out the stalls and racing right at the back, he flew home to miss by a long neck at SP $21, paying $6 the place. Deffo next time for him…

Girl Mania (3 units ew) sneaked into third for us at $1.70.

SERTIN

Dalby, Race 8

Ran a better third last time at in a higher grade, even though unsuited by the heavy track. Has better form on top of the ground, and could be running into a bit of form in this lower grade, worth an ew shot today at $12.

AKKA’S METEOR 

Bendigo Jockey Club, 4

Since going in the book last year, this lad’s run 4 out of 5 placings for us, around the $8-9 mark, and has been no more that 1.3 lengths away. Honest as they come, and is OK in the wet. Placed 6 out of 10 at this distance, 8 out of 14 overall, could be his day to break maidens, looks at least a good ew bet at $12.

LITTLE MAX 

Bendigo Jockey Club, Race 7

He rocked in for us at $10 three weeks back at Moe. He’s an on-pacer and drops back to 1000m today, though back up in grade, but he’s a real chance in a very open betting race at $6.

FIRST ROCK 

Canterbury JC, 5

Chasing a hatttick and very impressive this prep, especially quick in his last win. 2:2 at this track, will run fav at about even money, should win.

BET: 10 unit win
