Tight betting race, joint fav at $5 makes him backable ew, Froggy jumps onboard, worth another shot, could be hard to catch…

Was gritty on return here after nearly 200 days away to clear his maiden a month back, then ran a close second at Sandown. Fronts up as an odds-on fav today and can add to the win tally.

SPRING VALLEY & KEW PLAYER

Pakenham Racing Club, 8

SV produced a scintillating turn of foot from dead last over this T&D to break maidens last time out, and she’s a shot again at $5 in this good betting contest. KP duplicated that run 4 days later here to win, before running fifth at Geelong, and at $34 is certainly not out of this.
