Race 2: ALLUSIONIST has run fav both times this prep, beaten into third and fourth by small margins after winning a big trial in town. Drops in grade today a touch and is worth another chance to make amends at around $3.60 in this small field.

Race 7: CROSS TALK was simply brilliant late last moth in winning his third out of four runs this prep. Will start as odds-on fav, and for me, just has to get past Skyman to win this.

BET: 10 unit win, quinella these two

PINJARRA

Race 2: MISS INTENTION  has run two fast finishing thirds for us recent;y, SP $41 and $12, and has been noted as close to a win. Gets her chance today, will be dropping on these late, and the extra 200m will suit, but will have company in this hotpot fav. $4.40 on offer.

ROCKHAMPTON

Race 4: AERIAL COMBAT and PRINCE PLANET contest this one, both paying over $20 today. In a seven horse field, it makes them difficult to back ew, so best bet is to use them in your exotics.
