The three thirds, very similar runs from Rudhyar (3 units ew) and Santero (5 units ew) running on well and paying $2.50 and Main Engine (4 units ew) also running third, at $1.70. Certainly ones to watch next time out…

Race 4: ABSOLUTE LEGEND went in the book last August with his win despite running greenly, then ran a few close placings for us before heading to the paddock. Seems fancied today as second fav, a small win bet I think at $3.40…

Race 6: COUTURE is on the quick back-up from Sunday, where she came back after a 4 month spell to run fourth. Not hopeless in this at $19…

Race 7: FOX SPIRIT raced on the pace last time but couldn’t see it out. The drop back to 1200m could help, chance at $5.50

Race 8: BOLD TYPE has come back in good order, ran a second at $12 for us last month, then a fourth. Some reasonable stats for this, and will be fitter third up at $3.60. Has to get past the very consistent fav, they look like they’ll dominate this.

Race 6: GHOST DOCTOR has been running in a wide range of classes, going and distances, just might be ready to show something here. Won this last time last year. EW at $11…

Race 2: JUNE BUG dropped in class 11 days ago to win at Wingatui, can do it again today in this small field at $4.40.
