It was all about places yesterday…
June Bug (2 units ew) was beaten half a neck into second, paying $3.50 the place.
We had Aeecee Dolce (4 units ew) down as the sleeper, finished like a train to run third at a juicy $5.30 the place
And Main Engine (5 units ew) ran a game second, just getting nicked in the few strides, paying $2.30 the place

Race 4: We noted FINGERTIPS steaming home with an amazing run from last to win at Beaudesert last September. Since then he’s run four places plus three wins for us. He’s down as the rank outsider in this small field at $10. Does step up to Open class today, but his stats are formidable for this, never out of the frame in five starts here at this distance and enjoys the good going under foot. Gotta have a shot…
