Today’s Tips: Sunday 6th November 2022

Three nice winners and five placings…

Amberecho (5 units ew) got us off to a great start with a dominant win at Riccarton at juicy odds of $7.40/$2.10, if you’d jumped on early you’d have got $12.

Three races later, Buritz (4 units ew) got up at an even better $10.50/$3.20.

The other winner was Willinga Rufio (5 unit win), who, as we predicted, reversed form on Naval Seal at Rosehill to get up at $3.60.

Four seconds at nice place odds included Tightlign ($6.50), Sacred Giant (2 units ew) at $3.60, Coco Rox ($1.50), and Gem of the Lochs (4 units ew) at $2.30, with Carribean King (3 units ew) at $2.40, running third. We also hit the post with four fourth-placed runners.

Overall, 40% of our picks returned a dividend.

She’s run three seconds in a row for us at good odds, and the return to 1920m should work in her favour as she attempts to break maidens on her 16th go. Jockey has 8 placings from 10 rides on her, and it’s her day today as odds-on fav, she’ll be strong late on…

MISS INTENTION

York, 3

Another mare with similar ambitions, still a maiden after 21 runs, and returns from a short break back to the 1200m. Will need to be more on-speed than usual, but rates a chance to break her duck at $4.

ROADTRIP

Sunshine Coast, 8

Massively impressive breaking his maiden two weeks back on the poly here, missed the start and roared home to win easily as even money fav and looks set to repeat the dose here as $3.80/$1.85 fav with Thompson sticking.

ZIGGI ROCKS

Gawler, 6

He doesn’t win out of turn, and ran last at Strathalbyn 10 days ago, when found to be lame, so deserves another chance based on previous form as one of three favs at $3.90.
